The People Behind the Mission

ROAF is led by individuals whose commitment to Mpeseduadze is not professional obligation — it is a personal calling.

Mr. Richard Okrampah Abban

Mr. Richard Okrampah Abban

Founder & Director

Mr. Richard Okrampah Abban is the founder, patron, and driving force of the Richard Okrampah Abban Foundation (ROAF) LBG. A native son of Mpeseduadze, he left his hometown as a young man and spent decades building a life and career in the United Kingdom. Through every chapter of that journey, his love for Mpeseduadze never dimmed — and in April 2026, he returned to formally launch what he describes as his life’s most important work. Mr. Abban serves as Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees, lead patron of all flagship programmes, and the personal financial anchor behind ROAF’s inaugural clinic construction fund. His vision — to build a healthier, economically empowered, and accessible Mpeseduadze — is the foundation upon which every ROAF programme is designed.

Beyond the financial commitment, Mr. Abban brings decades of lived experience, a global perspective on development, and an intimate understanding of what his community needs — making him not just a benefactor, but a builder.
